Reconstruction Technician - Lead - Oahu

Primary purpose of the role:
We are currently looking for a Reconstruction Technician - Lead to join our team. This position will be assisting the Reconstruction Manager of Hawaii's largest locally owned and operated Property Damage Restoration Company. The primary purpose of this role is to manage the work of the Reconstruction team.
Basic Job Duties:
- Hanging doors, cabinet installation, framing
- Installing various types of flooring
- Hanging sheet rock; mud, tape, texturing and smooth finish up to level 3
- Basic plumbing; electrical skills helpful
- Be reliable and adept at construction problem solving
- Utilizing mobile devices, i.e. iPhones, Tablets, etc. for projects
- Visiting multiple job sites
- Updating clients on job progress
- Supervising reconstruction technicians
- Must possess strong conflict resolution skills to address and resolve issues in a professional and constructive manner
- Must be highly self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative
- Must have a strong sense of urgency, ensuring tasks are completed promptly and efficiently
- Must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with others productively and effectively
Minimum Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Reconstruction technician experience
- Own transportation and basic hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- Computer literate to work with our job management software program
Minimum Education Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED equivalent

Pay: Starting at $30.00/hour, depending on experience
