General Manager - Oahu

Position Summary:
The General Manager – Oahu is responsible for leading all operational functions on the island of Oahu. This executive-level position ensures the branch meets or exceeds strategic, financial, and performance goals, while fostering a culture rooted in safety, service, and team engagement. As a key member of the Premier Restoration Hawaii executive team, this role plays a pivotal part in cross-functional collaboration and company-wide leadership.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directly oversees Oahu-based departments: Mitigation & Contents, Abatement, Reconstruction, Estimating, and Customer Service.
- Coaches, develops, and holds department managers accountable for performance, growth, and goal alignment.
- Manages full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and training of new managers, ensuring operational readiness and cultural fit.
- Conducts regular and constructive performance evaluations, supporting continuous development and feedback.
- Handles disciplinary actions and employee terminations in alignment with company policy and HR best practices.
Essential Functions:
- Leads the Oahu team with a strong emphasis on safety compliance and customer satisfaction as top priorities.
- Embodies and promotes the company’s core values: Customer First, Communication, Team, Pride in Work, and Play to Win.
- Has full ownership of the Oahu P&L and is accountable for meeting revenue, profitability, and budget targets.
- Monitors team productivity and branch efficiency using KPIs, financial statements, and operational activity reports.
- Builds and maintains relationships with key commercial and residential restoration clients.
- Collaborates with state-wide departments including Abatement Operations, HR, Finance, and Safety to align branch and company-wide objectives.
- Assesses staffing levels and plans labor needs based on project pipeline and production goals.
- Participates in preparation of budgets and forecasting for Oahu.
- Contributes to the development and maintenance of operational manuals and standard operating procedures.
- Resolves production-related issues efficiently and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manages the coordination of work and timely hand offs between divisions.
- Regularly conducts job site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.
- Attends and actively contributes to weekly Leadership L10 meetings.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

- Office environment for administrative and leadership duties.
- Job site visits across Oahu for operational oversight and field inspections.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
- Ability to travel to neighbor islands occasionally for events or meetings.

Job-Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, occasional evenings and weekends

Pay: $120,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience, with performance-based bonuses
