Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Contents Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of contents restoration projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both people and processes effectively.

Responsibilities:

Project Estimation & Planning

Accurately assess the scope and cost of contents restoration projects, including:

  • Pack-outs and pack-ins
  • Structural and contents cleaning
  • Content valuation (identifying high-value items and special handling needs)

Develop schedules for contents projects, including:

  • Assigning personnel
  • Coordinating equipment and materials
  • Tracking project progress

Project Execution & Team Leadership

  • Lead and oversee contents technicians and team leads
  • Ensure proper documentation of pre-existing damage and maintain accurate records of jobs and client belongings
  • Minimize breakage and ensure quality control throughout the process
  • Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication with clients
  • Collect required payments from clients

Operations & Administration

  • Utilize company job management software
  • Manage performance reviews for content technicians 
  • Act as the point of escalation for customer concerns or complaints
  • Communicate with the team to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Attend bi-weekly production meetings

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience preferred (restoration experience a plus)
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Xactimate and/or residential/commercial restoration preferred
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and work in PPE, including respiratory protection
  • Availability: Willing to work a rotating on-call schedule, including nights and weekends
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technology: Computer literate, able to work with job management software
  • Drivers License: Valid driver's license in good standing
