Senior HR Generalist | Hands-On Ownership & Real Impact
Oahu (In-Person) | Full-Time, Exempt
About the Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior HR Generalist to own the day-to-day execution of Human Resources for Premier Restoration Hawaii, a 150-plus employee restoration and reconstruction company.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants real ownership rather than a policy desk. You'll partner directly with operational leaders and executive leadership, executing accurately and solving problems in real time.
If you're energized by being the person employees and managers come to, coaching managers through hard conversations, closing gaps without being chased, and partnering with operations to take Premier to the next level, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for field and office roles, including pipelines, hiring events, ATS, and offers
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation from offer through first day, and complete offboarding timely
- Lead workplace investigations start to finish and coach managers through employee relations and progressive discipline
- Administer FMLA, TDI, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation coordination, and return-to-work
- Maintain HRIS records and support benefits, Open Enrollment, audits, and certified and prevailing wage documentation
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment law
What You Bring:
- 5 or more years of progressive HR experience, including generalist ownership of a business unit or location
- Proven experience leading investigations and employee relations matters end to end
- Experience administering FMLA, ADA, TDI, and workers' compensation
- Full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally for hourly and field roles
- Accuracy the first time. You get the details right - documentation, records, follow-through - and you use judgment on when to decide and when to escalate.
- Confidence to hold a hard conversation with a manager
- HRIS and ATS experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
- Construction, restoration, trades, or multi-site experience is a plus.
What We Offer:
- Medical, dental, and vision
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Company-issued laptop and phone
- A local, growing company where your work is visible and it matters
Only in-state applicants will be considered. Employment is contingent on a background check and pre-employment drug screen. Premier Restoration Hawaii is an equal opportunity employer.
